As part of our joint project, AI Lab Blekinge, which supports small and medium-sized businesses in exploring and applying AI, we’re sharing insights from our partners. This time, Avalon Innovation offers their perspective:
Artificial intelligence isn’t something we talk about for the future — it’s a key part of how we create value today.
At Avalon Innovation, we use AI both in customer projects and in our own processes to simplify, accelerate, and improve how we work.
AI in Our Projects
AI has become a natural part of how we build smarter, more efficient solutions for our clients — across industries and technologies.
Here are a few examples of how we put it to work:
- Automated quote generation: An AI-driven assistant reads and interprets quote requests from emails, extracts relevant details, and generates complete offers — including pricing and presentation.
- AI-powered CV matching: Our matching system analyses both CVs and project descriptions to suggest the best consultant profiles for each assignment. The result: higher accuracy, faster response times, and a better customer experience.
- Automated documentation and insights: In technical projects, AI helps us summarise large sets of data, requirements, or reports — giving engineers more time to focus on innovation.
- AI agent networks — the next step: We’re currently exploring how a network of collaborative AI agents can support the early stages of projects.
Each agent has a specific role — such as market research, secretary, or data analyst — coordinated by a project management agent that divides and tracks tasks. A control agent continuously checks outputs for quality and consistency.
This setup aims to speed up the research and insight phase, enabling our teams to reach conclusions faster and with higher confidence.
AI Inside Avalon
AI also supports how we work internally. It helps us automate everyday tasks, improve collaboration, and turn information into actionable insights:
- Smarter documentation and reporting: AI assists in structuring project documentation, writing summaries, and preparing reports.
- Knowledge sharing: AI helps us collect and connect insights from projects across the organisation, making best practices accessible for everyone.
- Competence mapping and recruitment: With AI, we can analyse skills and project data to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
Part of a Group-Wide AI Initiative
Avalon Innovation is part of a broader AI initiative across the group, bringing together experts from different companies, roles, and regions.
Together, we explore new technologies, test emerging tools, and ensure that AI is applied responsibly, efficiently, and with measurable business value.
