Events at Tech Concept Lab are formats for collective exploration. They bring together students, researchers, organisations and practitioners to explore questions where technology, society and future possibilities intersect.
Over the course of one year, TCL organised five innovation sprints involving around 250 students, resulting in approximately 50 early-stage technology concepts.
Innovation Sprints are short, intensive collaborations focused on early-stage exploration. Working in interdisciplinary teams, participants translate complex challenges into tangible concepts, not as final answers, but as informed starting points.
Over a period of 1.5 years, TCL hosted around 40 network gatherings with more than 400 participants, creating continuity rather than one-off events.
Network gatherings are recurring, low-threshold meetups designed to strengthen relationships across academia, industry and society.
The format is developed in collaboration with Paraply / The Pot and evolves through each iteration.
The Futures Council is a seminar series built around a collaborative foresight cycle. Together with participants, we explore multiple future scenarios and reflect on the systemic paths that could lead there.
What we are currently exploring
TCL is currently developing new workshop formats and prototype labs focused on generative AI and knowledge work. These explorations emphasise work processes, reflection and collaboration — and are intentionally kept open while they take shape.
If you share our belief that meaningful innovation requires curiosity, collaboration and a willingness to explore, there are several ways to engage. You can contribute with content, join our events, collaborate in projects or explore AI and futures methodology together with us.
