Innovation Technology Curiosity Courage Ideas

Supporting the future of knowledge work.

Tech Concept Lab supports organisations seeking to strengthen their innovation capacity in the context of the ongoing AI transformation. We do this through collaborative processes, applied research, and open innovation — always with a focus on long-term societal value.

As part of this work, we offer targeted support to organisations interested in exploring and developing agentic workflows.

Conditions for Innovation

This offering is part of Tech Concept Lab’s broader mission: to connect technology, people, and future-oriented thinking in order to explore and shape sustainable innovation.
We operate as a non-profit platform, working across academia, industry, and society. Our role is not to provide predefined answers, but to create the conditions for meaningful exploration and development.

Our work typically takes place through:

What are agentic workflows?

Agentic workflows are AI-based systems designed to carry out and coordinate advanced knowledge work — tasks that traditionally rely on human capabilities such as language, analysis, judgement, and decision-making.

This may include:

We are moving from a paradigm where humans use digital tools, to one where digital agents act as collaborators in everyday work. This shift is not only technological, but organisational and human.

What the support involves

The work is carried out in close dialogue with each organisation.

Depending on context and needs, it may include:

The ambition is not simply to introduce new tools, but to build understanding and capability over time.

Access to testbed & expertise

Participating organisations gain access to a broader ecosystem for exploration and development.

This includes:

Through this, ideas can be explored in practice — not just discussed. This reflects TCL’s role as a bridge between research, industry, and society, enabling applied innovation in real contexts.

Why this is offered

The purpose of this initiative is to explore how AI can be developed and applied in ways that are responsible, meaningful, and beneficial beyond individual organisations.

We believe that:

Practical information

We approach each collaboration as a mutual exploration.

If this resonates with your organisation, you are welcome to reach out for an initial conversation.

We will arrange a short meeting to understand your context and explore whether this is relevant.

Our student contributors

Alongside our core team and partners, a group of student contributors plays an important role in Tech Concept Lab.

We currently work with a small, growing group of students with strong technical grounding in AI and digital systems.

Their contribution is not defined by years of experience, but by:

  • Deep familiarity with emerging AI technologies
  • Ability to work across domains and understand context
  • A generalist mindset suited to complex, evolving problems

In many cases, this perspective is critical when exploring new forms of knowledge work and agentic systems.

They are integrated into TCL’s work as part of the team, contributing to both exploration and development across initiatives.

Connect

There is no right way to connect. Questions are just as welcome as ideas.
